Ranch Pork Chops - Crock Pot Style

Image
*This recipe has been made so many times in my household! You can use chicken or pork as both work really well!  When Hubby comes home on Tuesday, I plan to have this going in the crockpot to make his day ;-) The very first time I made this, Hubby opted to take me out that evening so we ended up reheated this and served with some mashed potatoes and whew ... it was very very tasty! Those items above? That's all you need in addition to the pork chops.  Seriously. One packet of ranch dressing One can of cream of chicken soup 1 tsp fresh garlic chopped black pepper You are  chopping your garlic  in mass quantities, right? I mean really. All you do is spray the crockpot with spray, toss in the chop. Mix up the balance of ingredients in small bowl and spread over the chops. Go ahead and toss in any chopped onions you see in the fridge ... Put a lid on the crockpot and make yet another mental note to find a new handle to replace the broken ...

Naked Pulled Pork Whole30!

Image
I say "naked" because, it's without any BBQ Sauce ... #JANUARYWHOLE30 And surprise, THIS time, Hubby ate it and said it was pretty damn good. Yeah, he said that about the green beans too ... maybe his back pain was just making him super complacent? What surprises me more than anything is that this humble hunk of pork can be transformed into something so freakin' simple with just a few ingredients ... 3 to 5 pound pork roast (I used a boneless pork butt this last time which makes me wonder, how is it boneless??) 1 tsp himalayian salt (the pink stuff) half bottle of liquid smoke 1/2 cup water Grab your crockpot. Usually, I trim  some  of the fat, but this last time I didn't. So I guess it works either way ;-) Trim or not, it's up to you! Grab a tsp or so of salt and sprinkle it all over everything and then massage the butt . Not a lot, you don't want anyone to give you funny looks, you know? Toss that bad boy in your crock pot, fat si...

Pizza Bowls - Gluten Free/Low Carb

Image
The original recipe comes from Shutterbean ... and she puts it down as a low-carb option ... since I'm not so much of an anti-carb girl as I am an anti-GRAIN girl ... I've opted to go with Grain Free ... which, sadly, it's NOT because of the sausage I'm using. I really need to venture in to making MY own, don't you think? So ... you know, if  you are buying pre-shredded cheese, it may NOT be grain/gluten free ... make sure to check your labels ... if you see anything like food starch, wheat, etc., then you know to put it back, grab the block stuff and take that home and shred it up yourself. Honestly, not a big deal. If you have a food processor, just use the grate blade and take the super easy way out ;-) *Shredded cheese usually has a coating to keep it from clumping up which is when the grain/gluten factor is introduced* Not to mention .... it's usually cheaper to grate your own cheese! And ...  as a small, side note, you should also take a peek...

Ranch Style Pork Chops in the Crock Pot

Image
I make this quite a bit with thick cut boneless pork chops ... it's tasty and super easy to make ... and you know me, I like EASY and TASTY! Those items above? That's all you need in addition to the pork chops.  Seriously. One packet of ranch dressing One can of cream of chicken soup 1 tsp fresh garlic chopped black pepper You are chopping your garlic in mass quantities, right? I mean really. Set the timer to low as long as it goes. In my case, it was 10 hours, which, sorry, it was NOT going to cook THAT long ... Come home and marvel at the fact that a mere 10 to 15 minutes that morning created THIS ... a meal worthy ...

Crock Pot Time! Easy Ranch Pork Chops!

I had this recipe pinned for a little while and decided to give it a try one day when I knew I'd have a full day of fun at the office ... We didn't eat it that night, Hubby took a little pity on me and took me out (nice guy!) so the following night, we reheated this with some mashed potatoes and whew ... it was very very tasty!
