I am hopeful that I can keep a running list of items that we have in the pantry HERE. Of course, half the battle is getting the pantry organized, ahem, which, we all know that I've been working on for a while. Seriously, not sure why it's taking me so dang long!

2 cartons beef stock
9 cartons organic chicken stock 
2 cartons chicken broth
1 jar Better Than Bouillon Beef
1 jar Better Than Bouillon Chicken
2 jars of powdered veggie bouillon
1 jar of powdered chicken bouillon
3 packages of seasoned black beans & rice
2 packages of seasoned yellow rice 
2 packages of seasoned long grain wild rice
2 jars slivered almonds
1 jar whole almonds
2 cans cocoa roasted almonds
2 cans whole almonds
2 bags slivered almonds
small jar of unsalted cashews
1 jar hulled sunflower seeds
1 bag hulled sunflower seeds
3.5 lb container unsalted cashews
3.5 lb container of salted cashews

 2 bags sunmaid organic raisins
3 bags of sundried tomatoes

 11 cans of wild albacore tuna (Wild Planet brand)
8 cans of alabcore tuna (Kirkland brand)
3 cans of premium albacore tuna 
7 envelopes of StarKist Albacore Tuna
6 cans of chopped clams
5 cans diced green chilis
2 cans whole adobe peppers in sauce

6 cans pure pumpking (thankfully October is coming up!)
3 can condensed milk
1 can corn beef hash
coconut oil

2 cans pineapple chunks in juice
pineapple slices
mandarin oranges
can of mangos
can of yams
2 cans water chestnuts
pitted black olives
roasted red peppers

coconut milk
refried beans
french fried onions
container of tahini

tomato sauce
tomato paste
diced tomatoes
2 cans enchilada sauce
1 can peeled whole tomatoes
box of crushed plum tomatoes
2 large cans of crushed tomatoes
fire roasted tomatoes
tomatoes and chilies (rotel and store brand)

1 box spaghetti
1 box of angel hair pasta
1 box of fettucini
1 box of ziti
1 pkgs of 4 cheese tortellini
2 pkgs of romano and spinach tortellini


1 jar of marinara sauce (repeat from above)

mexican velvetta (WTH did this come from? Princess and her hosted party)

chicken noodle soup mix envelopes
onion soup mix envelopes
3 cans tomato soup
1 can chicken noodle soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3 cans of french onion soup (and seriously, WHY do I have these?)
1 cup of soup

 canned corn
canned green beans
canned potatoes
butter beans
canned french cut green beans
black beans
canned chili
kidney beans

Non Toxic Mosquito Spray

Let's face it, living in Paradise does have a few drawbacks with the #1 complaint being ... BUGS. Yeah, bugs.  Mostly mosquitoes that can just ruin an evening of relaxation on the patio ... those pesky little guys can really do a number on you quickly!  Heaven forbid if you are one of those who are very sensitive to the bites (the Boy), you will have welts in no time. So Hubby always decides to spray AFTER everyone starts swatting the air and scratching. We have to gather up our drinks and appetizers, go indoors and wait for 20 minutes or so for the toxic fog to flat away ... only to be swatting and scratching AGAIN in 30 minutes. After seeing THIS tip a few too many times, I figured, what the heck, $5 at Walmart is worth it to try, right? Smelly Shoe Fix!

Honestly, we have real good hygiene habits in my house, I can assure you of that! But, lets face it, living in paradise with 125% humidity can be a little trying sometimes ... my running shoes (which have NOT seen much running action for quite a while) get a little ripe smelling ... and oh man, you should smell the shoes that Hubby wears outside in the yard, patio, garage and boat that constantly get wet ... enough to suck the oxygen right out of your body ... whew! Then you have the Boy ... who works out pretty darn hard and doesn't always wear socks, nor does the Princess ... I mean, seriously, I've had to throw shoes away because you could smell them just sitting there. No one wants to be the person that people are wrinkling their nose at when they are walking by you! So when I saw the featured post for the Smelly Shoe Solution (and dang, I'm still trying to find the original post because I had no need to bookmark it, such a simple fix!) Yes. That's IT!

Rice Cooker - Hard Boiled Eggs

One of the things I picked up at Costco was a new Rice Cooker. The one I have, well, I gave that to the Boy when he went away to college (so he could make his macaroni and cheese), not to mention, it was small as heck, like mini size! So, I figured, you know, Hubby likes to make rice occasionally. The Boy makes brown rice in the microwave every other day and leaves the bubbly residue behind for ME to find when I go to heat something up (I hate a dirty microwave, totally wigs me out and sends me running for the windex!) ... so I grabbed the rice cooker ($29.95), a 10 pound bag of organic brown rice and a 20 pound bag of Basmati rice. I'm asking myself now, a whole week later, what the hell am I going to do with 20 pounds of Basmati rice? Anyways. Then I was reading the recipe booklet that came along with the cooker. They had one recipe that said to add the eggs, unshelled, to the steamer basket.  Ok. That made me re-read it a few times. Unshelled? Did they mean out of the shell?
